Celler Cal Grau Winery

Cal Grau Winery is located in the southern part of one of the most prestigious wine production areas, the small Qualified Designation of Origin of El Priorat in the province of Tarragona. It was founded in 1999 on the basis of our estate La Solana which has an extension of 42 hectares and whose main grape varieties are Garnacha and La Cariñena (locally known as "Samsó"). It is located in the middle of the mountains and its soils are mainly composed of slate ("Licorella"), arranged in terraces and running through areas of Mediterranean mountains, almond and olive trees that are hundreds of years old.
