THE EUTIQUIO LEGACY

The story began with grandfather Eutiquio, who passed on all his wine knowledge and know-how to César Príncipe in the family's historic winery. It was his son, Ignacio, who laid the foundations of the winery as we know it today, in 1982.

But the real turning point came in 2000, with the release of César Príncipe, a wine that has put Cigales reds on the world wine scene and which, in fact, scored 94 Parker points in its first vintage.

GROWING WITHOUT HURRY

The César Príncipe winery was founded in the 90s and from that moment on it went from selling the classic claret in bulk to bottling it and increasing its quality. Always step by step, growing little by little, without hurry, putting all the effort and work of three generations into making wine.
